Up early this morning... going to water the front yard before it gets too hot... does not take long to dry out when all you get is sun and wind....TV last night was funny for about an hour and then it was just reruns... can hardly wait for September so that at least there will be some new stuff to watch...

1 tablespoon low-sodium soy sauce
1/2 cup honey mustard salad dressing
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup lemon juice
3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons brown sugar
6-8 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1-1/2 cups chicken broth
1/4 cup water
2 tablespoons cornstarch

In ziplock bag, combine all ingredients except chicken, chicken broth, cornstarch, and water. Add chicken, seal, place in large bowl, and marinate for at least 15 minutes - up to 24 hours in the refrigerator. When ready to cook, prepare and preheat grill. Drain chicken, and place marinade and chicken broth in a shallow large saucepan.
Start grilling the chicken, and bring the marinade to a simmer. Grill the chicken for 5-6 minutes per side, turning once, until just done.
When the chicken is almost done, combine cornstarch and water in small bowl and add to marinade in saucepan. Simmer while chicken finishes cooking.
As the chicken finishes, add to the simmering marinade mixture. When all the chicken is added, simmer for 30 seconds, then serve
TIPSY TUESDAYTry using carrots instead of sugar to sweeten your sauces

Well another busy day today... just waiting for my girlfriend Marilyn to come and help out.. she is stopping at Starbucks first and we will enjoy a quick coffee and then off to work...Then tonight we are off to a friends for a nightcap...
