TIPSY TUESDAY

MORNING EVERYONE.
Yesterday it did not know whether to rain or let the sun shine. So today we only want the sunshine.. okay..Today is the announcement of the giveaway for this month.. How the contest works is everydays post is going to have one word printed in Purple... Once you have read this blog and found the word you need to comment on the bottom of the daily blog telling me what the word is.. so you have a possiblity of getting 30 entries into the contest..Good Luck everyone..

WINE AND
MUSHROOM
CHICKEN







2tbsp. all-purpose flour
2 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. chopped onions
1/4 c. minced parsley
2 chicken breasts, skinned, boned, and split (about 1 lb.)
1 c. chicken broth or 1 c. water with bouillon
1/2 tsp. black pepper
2 c. sliced mushrooms
1 c. white wine

Cut chicken in pieces. Combine flour and pepper,coat chicken with flour mixture, shake of excess flour and brown in butter..take from skillet and add mushrooms and onions to Skillet, Saute until tender.. Stir in reserved flour. Blend in wine and chicken broth. Bring to a boil. Return chicken to skillet. Add parsley. Cover; reduce heat and simmer for 25 minutes. If sauce is too thin, add thickening. Serve over rice or use rice as a side dish.

TIPSY TUESDAY

I know how we all get invited to summer barbacues and decide to stop by our local grocery store and pick up a tray of fruit , meat platter, or even a vegetable platter.. If you get one that has a deep lid on top once you get to the party just take the lid off turn it upside down fill it with ice and then put the tray of food on top.. Keeps the food nice a cold and fresh...

Well it is tea time and work time for another day..
