FAST FOOD FRIDAY

Morning Everyone

Well today is the day that we get to go and watch our little Grandboys as their parents go out to a company Christmas Party... I am going to do some baking today and pick up Grumpys Christmas present.

SWEET CHILI GRILLED STEAK AND RICE BOWL

1 - 8 - 10 ounce beef steak, grilled and sliced on an angle when cold
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 large red bell pepper, sliced
1 large sweet onion, sliced
2 cloves garlic, finely minced
1 large handful fresh green beans or broccoli flowers
1 can chicken broth
1 tablespoon flour
1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
cooked rice
Saute the vegetables over medium heat with the oil and the garlic in a large skillet until just tender.
Add the steak and simmer two minutes.
Combine the chicken broth and flour in a small bowl and add to the skillet.
Add the sweet chili sauce and simmer another minute.
Serve over hot rice.
Fridays Craft is for all the appetizers you have been making. I know that Livi will enjoy doing this cause she is does beautiful cards and invitations and this is a good way for her to use up some of her scraps.....She should have some Mod Podge left over from the birdhouse.
Gift Containers for Treats

DIRECTIONS:-Trace the inside of the lid onto a piece of white paper, to make a template. You want it to fit in the center of the lid, not over the raised edges. It may need a little adjusting to get it just right, but kept placing it in the center of the lid to figure out where you need to make any changes.-Trace the template onto scrapbook paper.-Embellish as desired.-Using the foam brush, apply the mod podge to the top center of the lid (not the raised edges), then place your paper on top and gently press.-Apply a top coat of mod podge, and let dry!
Well you have a good weekend as we are getting closer to Christmas...We are going to real good friends open house tomorrow and then not sure what we are doing after that...but I am sure we will find something to keep us amused...Love this time of year!!!
Enjoy
Cheers
Judy
