Well it poured up here all night. I would imagine the Mt Washington has just a ton of new snow...Miss going up there every New Years Eve. It was always a great time our kids loved it and as long as the sun was out then I was out but if no sun no Judy....Heading out to get the trees cause the rain has quit here for how long I do not know and if there is one thing we do not want to do is be cutting trees in the pouring rain... Going to have a nice pork roast wrapped in chirizo sausage and bacon if it turns out good will post it as one of my recipes in a couple of weeks.
Here is your appetizer recipe for today.
Cheesy Appetizer Loaf
3 tbsp Miracle Whip Dressing
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 pkg (200g) Mozzarella shredded Cheese
2tbsp chopped Spanish Olives
1 loaf French bread (about 24 inches) cut lengthwise in half
Mix dressing, garlic powder , cheese and olives
Spread mixture evenly onto cut surfaces of bread. Sprinkle lightly with paprika. Place bread on baking sheet
Broil 6 inches from heat, 1 min, or until cheese is melted. Cut into 24 slices . Serve warm.
If you are not an olive fan use 2 tbsp canned mushrooms, chopped and drained or finely chopped ham or turkey instead. Hope you have a nice family day and talk to you tomorrow...
